The University Laboratory Technologist and Technicians Association (ULTTA) has held a three-day workshop from 16-18th August 2023 at the Adzei Bekoe Science Conference Hall in the Department of Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology under the theme “Assuring Quality of Laboratory Results in A World Class Research Intensive University”. The workshop brought together 20 participants from units under the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). Prof. Larry P. Chegbeleh who represented the Dean of SPMS to open the workshop noted that the competency of laboratory staff enhances the performance of a laboratory and its credibility and therefore urged participants to embrace the concepts of quality management systems. He commended the executives of ULTTA for its visionary leadership in organizing the workshop.
